All in Print China 2018 organises Spring Festival in a big way

In presence of a host of eminent dignitaries from international associations as well as leaders from the Chinese printing industry, All in Print China 2018 (AIP 2018) has organised Spring Festival on January 18 at Shanghai. The gathering of about 100 guests at the gala dinner opened up a networking opportunity for everyone to share their ideas of development and updates on AIP 2018.

Among the distinguished guests who present at the gala dinner of All in China’s Spring Festival celebrations were Wang Yanbin, president, The Printing Technology Association of China; Chang Xiaoxia, general manager, Beijing Keyin Media & Culture Co Ltd, Heiko M Stutzinger, deputy general manager, Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co Ltd; and Li Xinli, president, Shanghai Printing Trade Association. Also present in the crowd included representatives from international associations like NPES, VDMA as well as leading international and Chinese brands, such as UP Group, GOSS, YOCO Shanghai, RICOH, FUJIFILM, Komori, Screen, Siegwerk, Taiyo Kikai, Basch, Avery Dennison, Omet, Yuncheng Plate Making and Cron.

Chang Xiaoxia moderated the grand gathering, which was opened with Wang Yanbin delivering a gracious welcome speech on behalf of the organisers. Wang pointed out that AIP would aim at leading the development of the printing industry. She said the organisers, hand in hand with all industry colleagues, will build a platform for exchange and display to present a full picture of the developmental trend and innovation of the global printing industry. “Guided by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, The Printing Technology Association of China will contact press and publication bureaus, printing associations and industry branches in all provinces, regions and municipalities to make efforts for the success of AIP 2018,” she added.

Wang also mentioned that the World Print and Communication Forum Board Meeting and the Global Technology Summit Forum will be held concurrently with AIP 2018 to make visitors learn comprehensively the global trend and know the latest technology.

In his keynote speech, Heiko M Stutzinger said Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) will make greater and further efforts to make AIP an influential international event that promotes the cooperation in printing industry, relying on Messe Düsseldorf GmbH’s global promotional channels and networks, especially mentioning the resources of drupa.

AIP has been hosted in Shanghai all the time since its establishment in 2003. As the co-organiser, Shanghai Printing Trade Association has given great supports to AIP’s development. In this, Li Xinli said, “As a co-organiser of AIP, we will keep playing our role as an association to unite and join forces from all sides, give complete support to AIP, make visitors from all over the globe better understand the development of China’s printing industry, and seek new opportunities for exhibitors.”

Liu Yiping shared the preparation progress of the 7th AIP in which 760 enterprises have already been registered till date as exhibitors. And the registered exhibition area has exceeded 100,000 sq m with more than 70 percent of booths have been arranged. The expo will be organised from October 24-28, 2018, under the theme ‘Enter the Era of Intelligent Printing’ in nine halls of Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC), Shanghai. It has been expected that more than 1,000 exhibitors will take part in the expo, pulling 100,000 visitors from all over the world.

AIP 2018 will set up seven theme pavilions—Digital Pre-press, Comprehensive Printing, Post-press Converting, Packaging Equipment, Ink & Innovative Materials, Label Industry, and Comprehensive Equipment. In addition, there will be three Special Display Zones—Flexible Packaging Zone, Corrugated Carton Zone, and Inkjet Equipment Zone. To present intelligent manufacturing and innovative S&T development in printing, the organisers have planned three theme-based display areas—‘Innovation Factory’ founded in 2016, with an aim to gather web-to-print, green solution, AR/VR technology and 3D printing. A special innovative product zone is added in order to showcase innovative applications in the areas of label, digital printing, flexible packaging, inkjet and printing altogether, and show the greatest strength of applications in the industry. In addition to the Innovation Factory, Intelligent Factory and Customised Experience Pavilion thematic areas are specially designed to cover the whole industry chain, push forward implementation of innovation-driven development strategy and present deep integration of the internet, big data, and artificial intelligence (AI) into the printing industry.

With the quality resources and hard work of the organisers, the promotion of AIP and exhibitors’ participation have been activated online and offline, in and outside China. The organising committee will make more efforts in such areas as exhibitor service, visitor organisation, event communication and preparation for concurrent events, etc. It is estimated that in 10 months before AIP 2018, the organising committee will carry out extensive promotions by taking part in over 20 fairs and conferences, and exert all-round social influences through a full range of communicating channels like magazine columns, e-news, mobile newspapers, WeChat, APP, reports, show previews, etc. with the help from more than 60 domestic and foreign professional media and organisations.
In particular, the AIP organisers will apply the latest AR technology to make 3D display and promotion schemes, and enrich a full set of integrated solution of onsite demonstration + virtual exhibition on PC web + mobile match-making to be the first one to achieve a ‘never-ending’ exhibition in the printing industry.

As the most comprehensive printing exhibition across the globe in 2018, AIP has made enormous efforts in international promotion. Tracy Cui, head of MarCom Industry Division of Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co Ltd, introduced the overseas exhibitor recruitment, international visitor organisation and global promotion of AIP in details. While maintaining the original effective channels, AIP 2018 will increase its media channels by 32 percent and global associations by 22 percent.
