Shree generates a strong presence in North India
- Planning expansion to abroad

With the newly introduced range of total fountain solution management systems, Shree Refrigerations (P) Ltd has captured a majority share in the North Indian market, which faces some of the toughest ambient temperatures in summer. They have recently supplied a large number of their systems to Dainik Jagran, Amar Ujala, Punjab Kesari, Rajasthan Patrika and Hindustan Times, to cater the large format presses with several 4 Hi towers (up to 6 nos) and speeds up to 45000 iph.

These internationally reputed components, coupled with Shree’s in-house developed high-ambient temperature enabled refrigeration system, are based on state-of-theart technology. With the new designed chillers, the company has planned to offer entire fountain solution management functions, including: to prepare, using Dosatron power-free dosing pumps, which ensure accurate mixing every time and without operator’s involvement; to monitor, on-line pH and conductivity and temperature and all status indicators on chiller and optionally remotely from the press console; to circulate, using Brinkmann pumps for reliable delivery and circulation of fountain solution; to chill, using high ambient temperature enabled refrigeration system; and to filter, enhancing life of the fountain mix by filtering impurities continuously. Having completed some prestigious projects for Jagathi Newspaper and Wijeya Newspaper, Colombo, Sri Lanka, through Manugraph, Shree is now looking to expand their operations beyond India.

Accordingly, they have undertaken a major manufacturing expansion plan to increase capacity and enhance quality of their offerings. The recent orders from major North Indian newspapers are providing just the boost required to propel the company on to the international arena.

Recently, addressing a gathering of newspaper printing professionals in a press consumables workshop, R G Shende, the managing director of Shree Refrigeration (P) Ltd, stressed the need of fine filtration to enhance life of fountain solution to increase press performance and derive cost savings.
