Ifra XMA Cross Media Awards 2008: call for entries
Ifra Cross Media Awards 2008 a part of
Ifra, a worldwide research and service
organisation for the news publishing
industry are presented for the third time to
newspaper & publishing houses with the
project topic “Cross-media Advertising.”
This year’s awards will concentrate on cross
media advertising, recognising those who
have successfully targeted consumers
across different print and media channels.
The main aim of this award is to present
the best examples of combining different
print and digital channels to bring the
advertiser’s messages across. The media
awards will be presented for innovative
projects from all over the world that manage
successfully to intensify their relationships
with the readers as well as the relationships
among the readers themselves. Publishing
houses conducting projects during the period
1st July 2007- 30th June 2008 are eligible for
this competition. While the entries can be
submitted online also under www.ifra.com/
xma. The prizes will be awarded in three
categories: cross-media campaigns for
individual advertising customers, crossmedia
classified ads, and community
projects that target new groups of
advertising customers for newspaper
publishing houses. The final date for
receiving entries is 30th June 2008. The
awards will be announced at IfraExpo 2008
held from Oct 27-30, 2008 in Amsterdam
under the motto “Get the Big Picture!”
