Manugraph sends Hiline by air to Abudhabi

Manugraph has done it again! Known for its prompt delivery they have established a benchmark in supply and installation of a Hiline web press by sending it by air to Abu Dhabi. The press reaches prior to the commited target date. Here's a brief about the same.

It was a matter of pride for Manugraph to keep on record the airlift of mammoth printing units. Right from the beginning, the installation has been breaking various set norms i.e. delivery of units, installation progress, inauguration at an earlier date than actually planned.

The order for the United Printing & Publishing, Abu Dhabi was placed on December 20, 2007. For a manufacturing company, such kind of order would have taken lead-time of minimum 6-8 months. But, the logistics management divided the entire project into seven phases to facilitate non-stop machine delivery with an ongoing installation at site by the Manugraph dedicated team. And the first phase of equipment was delivered on January 10, 2008, which was just three weeks post the order placement.

From thereon there was no turning back. The entire chain was well maintained with no mishaps. And the last phase of the project was completed on March 27, 2008. To add feather to the Manugraph cap, the committed target date for the entire order being April 19, the inauguration was pre-poned to April 17 due to Manugraph’s prompt delivery.

The technical details of this mammoth machine include the Hiline press with 8 towers + 2 folders with QF, 8 webs can be run on any of the folder as single pressline or 2 folders can run separately as 2 presslines, 2 webs heatset provision, 8 nos AR-70 autopasters installed at 90o, fully loaded pressline with multicam automatic registration and cut-off control system from Quadtech-USA and Manucolour remote ink presetting system with CIP-3 interface.
