Muller martini's World Premiere:
the ProLiner with the new CoLiner pregathering system

The new CoLiner pregathering system
has improved the layout flexibility and
efficiency of the ProLiner system.
Muller Martini is very happy with results at drupa 08. As Rudolf Müller, CEO of the company, summarised, “We were successful in demonstrating the innovative power of Muller Martini to visitors. The new generation of machines has elicited a profound response, and numerous new projects have been launched.” The world premiere in Düsseldorf was the ProLiner newspaper inserting system, presented together with the new CoLiner pre-gathering system, which not only looks impressive with its new Laserblue “outfit”, but also is designed in line with the latest ergonomic principles and offers even more flexibility, especially in cases of limited space in the mailroom. Environmental protection has been taken into account throughout: the ProLiner meets the highest noise emission standards. Furthermore, due to cutting edge control and drive technology, energy and compressed air consumption have also been further reduced.

Besides, one special highlight was the new Primera saddle stitcher series for the medium performance range. It was introduced in the three different automation levels of Primera A110 (entry level model for the full size range with 11,000 cycles/ hour), Primera C130 (standard model with partial automation and 13,000 cycles/hour) and Primera E140 (highly automated model with 14,000 cycles/hour).

As further world premieres Muller Martini presented the fully automatic Apila palletizing system, and the double stream model of the Preciso rotary trimmer. Special mention is also forthcoming for the new gathering machine 3697 with a revolutionary separating principle.
