TNPL set to collaborate with paper mills
Chennai-based Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Ltd (TNPL) is set
to collaborate with other paper mills to get the surplus pulp converted
into paper. The company has already expanded its raw material
pulp production capacity from 500 tonnes a day to 720 tonnes.
Due to increasing demand and soaring prices of newsprint, the company
is now focusing on newsprint to seize the opportunity. TNPL is India’s
largest manufacturer of bagasse-based pulp for paper production.
