Back-to-business Fujifilm organises four-city open house
As the industry starts settling after a hectic
business spell at drupa 08, Fujifilm took
the opportunity to welcome professionals
with refreshing get togethers. The
company was the first to hold post drupa
industry open house on the latest in Violet
CtP trends, inkjet press as well as its wide
format presses and technology. Held in
four cities, viz. Chennai, Bangalore,
Mumbai and Delhi, it attracted over
100 participants at each open house.

The open houses were
organised by FUJI with their
respective distributors to
explain to customers about its
offering to Indian market (printers,
pre press, newspapers and digital
printers). People who had missed
drupa show were able to attend and
benefit from this event.
In Delhi, Padmakar Ojale, business
head, graphics arts, Fujifilm India
Pvt Ltd welcomed the audience and
introduced the first presenter K
Tanaka, Fujifilm India Pvt Ltd, who
presented an interesting overview
of the company. “Fujifilm is known
for its quality and technology all
over the world having a staff over
75,000,” he said. Tanaka praised
company’s local distributors in
India: Kohli Graphics Systems -
Delhi (North India), Kapoor Imaging
- Chennai (South and East India)
and Malhotra Graphics -Mumbai
(West India) and added, “We are
very satisfied with their support and
commitment to Fujifilm.”

gave an engrossing presentation on
“drupa review and Fujifilm R&D
direction”. He concluded his
presentation on a positive note with
a message “Today’s small success
will be Tomorrow’s big success.”

finally a solution to integrate design
and print in detail. This competitive
offering is an opportunity to win.
