Shree innovates, expands and goes international
After making its mark in the Indian market, Shree Refrigerations is all set to
enter the international market by exhibiting their products at IFRA Expo
2008 in Amsterdam. They will be the first fountain solution chiller
manufacturing company to exhibit its products on the international platform.

International visitors can see
Shree’s chillers in operation
in stall no 8682 in IFRA Expo,
Amsterdam from October 27-30,
2008. The company has
continuously improved its products
to slowly elevate it to international
standards by choosing world-class
components and putting them
together in its state-of-the-art plant
in Karad, Maharashtra. They are
also vigorously testing its products
in the demanding Indian summer
conditions in controlled ambient test
room.
Shree is confident of cornering a
sizable share of not just Indian but
International market as well. The
company uses world-class
Brinkmann pumps for circulation of
fountain solution. It also represents
Dosatron, France for dosing
pumps, which are available for
sale as pumps are integrated
in a complete auto dosing
system. Using Carel make
chiller controller PLCs for
control of chillers with better
alarm management including
text display makes Shree’s
chillers user friendly. These
controllers have a remote
display and control option
whereby a chiller can
be controlled from the press
control console.
Recently, Shree has upgraded
its pH and conductivity meters
to Thermo Fisher make 200
series instruments which offer
alarm for incorrect pH and
conductivity values. Enhanced oiltrapping
filters used in the PHE
circulation line offer excellent
improvement in the life of fountain
solution (in some cases from 2 days
to 15 days) between changeovers.
These advantages offer the printer
excellent savings on
chemical costs.
In order to meet the exact
specifications of discerning
international buyer, Shree is
putting up a CNC sheet
metal shop with captive
powder coating shop. Shree
already has a condenser coil
manufacturing facility. The
in-house manufacturing of
condensers and sheet metal
components (including
TiG welded SS tanks)
Shree expects substantial
improvement in quality
coupled with cost
advantage and enhanced
manufacturing capacity. Shree are
also launching chillers for sheetfed
presses shortly and plan to offer
a credible alternative to imports.
