to upcoming Karnal Print & Pack Cluster
A fresh order that PRESSLINE India has received for its widely acclaimed and versatile PRIMA-30 press was from Karnal Print & Pack Cluster, which is an upcoming Common Facility Centre (CFC) for printing and packaging of varied range of items in Karnal. Times bring changes, prompting young generations and enthusiasts who are engaged in printing and packaging industry to brainstorm for a working platform common to all. With such notion in mind, a proposal was made and a team of industry stalwarts approached the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and the Department of Industries of Haryana Government with a concrete aim to establish a Common Facility Centre (CFC) for the printing and packaging cluster in Karnal, Haryana.
The overall idea of establishing the common facility was tabled after a thorough research and development. And eventually the proposal was accepted by both the concerned authorities, viz. Haryana Government and MSME. As per the proposed plan, the facility will provide new opportunities and prospects, not only in Karnal but all across the north Indian printing and packaging industries. The packaging association of Karnal comprises about 300 MSE units concentrated in the region, with its total turnover of about Rs 250 crore.
In developing the upcoming Karnal Print & Pack Cluster, PRESSLINE India has a significant role to supply its PRIMA-30 (578) to be installed in one of the production divisions in the cluster. As the newly planned printing and packaging cluster will have different facilities involving printing and packaging, the versatile PRESSLINE press will handle the tasks of newspaper and book productions.
PRESSLINE India’s PRIMA-30 (578) is featured with one 4HI Tower with a Double Roll Stand and Auto Splicer, Half Page Folder with folding up to 1/8 size along with Auto Registration System, Auto Blanket Washing System, Stacker, Mini IR Dryer, In-feed & Out feed Device, Spray Dampener and others, designed perfectly for qualitative production of books and newspapers.
PRIMA-30 is one of the most accepted presses from PRESSLINE India at the both domestic and international levels. Vital features of this widely used versatile web offset press include stainless steel blanket cylinders. Suitably engineered for mid-level production, PRIMA-30 runs at the maximum speed of 36,000 cph and its circumferential and lateral control on all plate cylinders excepting on mono units are motorised.
Designed with heavy and wider side frames, PRIMA-30 has spheroidal gray (SG) iron sleeves. Optional features available on the press include 12 web capacity, remote inking/CIP-3, spray dampening, blanket wash, shaftless drive, automatic register controls, UV dryer(s), three form rollers (including one rider roller), motorised bustle wheels and reel rod blanket lock up.
