Everything points towards the online inserting process, as can be assured by Ferag technology alone. Production on the inserting system is at 75,000 cph. This concept proves its great added value particularly well in case of unsteady paper web routings and/or surfaces. QI Press Controls will also emphasise how this innovative high technology contributes to reducing costs, minimising press running time and reducing downtime. proven mailroom technology

The existing Schur mailroom at APM Print will be upgraded with one A955 inserting line. The high capacity inserting line will be equipped with four hoppers in order to meet various customer demands with maximum flexibility. The compact design of the A955 inserter turned out to be a great advantage for this project. The A955 inserter will be in production together with three other Schur inserting lines.

In 2007 a Schur mailroom was installed at the APM printing plant in Beograd. The installation included three A855 inserting systems and three stacking/packaging lines. In order to match the increased production requirements, APM Print now decided to upgrade the existing mailroom equipment.

To achieve the best result in this context, the new equipment will be integrated with the existing lines in an optimal way. In addition to the A955 inserting system, two new TGG 3200 folder grippers will be part of the modernized mailroom. The stacking/packaging line will be equipped with TS800 high capacity stacker, UB 01 under wrapper and TM01-RT cross strapping line. The bundle production line will be installed in direct connection to the new A955 inserter.

Founded in the year 2003, APM Print became the first independent printing house in Serbia. Since 2010 APM Print is part of the Ringier Axel Springer Media AG, based in Zurich – Switzerland. Among many other titles, APM Print in Beograd is printing Serbia’s daily No. 1 Blic.
