RP Printers, one of the pragmatic print houses based in Noida (NCR), has installed Pressline Prima-30 all inclusive 4 high towers for book production. This landmark installation is a trend setter for a printer opting for path breaking add-on a cold set web offset press to provide print quality and value for money. Apart from the regular features such as motorised RCR’s pneumatic controls with brush dampening, Pressline Prima-30 is equipped with auto splicer having double dancer. The machine has also requisitioned infeed and outfeed device - a feature to provide very accurate nip to maintain the critical tension of the web, so important for colour registration and avoidance of web fluttering that causes ghosting.
Amit Sharma of Pressline India Pvt Ltd emphatically remarked that IR drier in Pressline Prima-30 is a feature which is very useful for avoiding smudges that occur due to the belt of the delivery at folder an even more when web stackers are attached to the folder. Nitin Gupta, director, RP Printers who has been in the printing field for over 20 years is now upbeat about the new venture with the Pressline machine which will add to the company’s existing resources to satisfy the customers’ requirements of quality and quantity. Further the press is equipped with Infra Red drier to ensure drying of ink before it enters the nip rollers and folder to avoid ink smudges and set offs in cold set printing.
Blanket cylinders in Pressline Prima-30 are fitted with the USA patented auto blanket washer – an initiative of Pressline India to perform the task of blanket wash while the press is on run without stopping the press and incurring re-make ready waste and down time due to manual blanket wash.
