McLaren Press Graphics orders Q.I. Press Controls’ mRC-3D

Q.I. Press Controls North America management receives a key order from McLaren Press Graphics, one of the leading commercial printers based in Bracebridge, Ontario. The advanced, latest generation closed-loop mRC-3D full-colour register system with cut-off controls, will be installed at McLaren’s DGM430 coldset single-width press line. For McLaren Press Graphics, this investment replaces their existing register system, which did not include cut-off controls. Drew McLaren, president, McLaren Press Graphics said, “We were one of the first commercial printers to install registration controls on a non-heatset press back in the 1990s, and we recognised the ROI immediately.”

The New Straits Times Press adopts Protecmedia’s SHIPO solution

Malaysian publishing group The New Straits Times Press has invested in SHIPO, Protecmedia’s solution for everything related to the management of circulation and subscriptions. The group has decided to replace its old system with SHIPO with a view to modernising these two areas, achieving an improvement in the service offered to its subscribers and optimising the distribution of its publications. After more than 30 years providing solutions and services in the publishing sector, Protecmedia entered the Asian market in order to broaden its horizons and to be able to offer its innovative solutions to new clients.
