First ever INMA Circulation
Growth Seminar concludes in Jaipur


Held in Jaipur on April 15 under the theme ‘Circulation 3Gs: Growth, Growth and Growth’, INMA Circulation Growth Seminar proved an unprecedented event, with presence of 76 delegates from 14 Indian newspapers, one Bangladesh newspaper and a top consulting firm. It was the first ever circulation seminar by International Newsmedia Marketing Association (INMA) for newspaper circulation managers, single-mindedly focussed on strategies to grow circulation and readership.

Circulation is one of the principal factors used to set advertising rates, and growth in circulation implies enhanced revenue figures. At the one-day INMA Circulation Growth Seminar having a powerful programme including seven sessions, thirteen top speakers from the newspaper industry and top FMCG companies were brought together by the INMA South Asia board, aiming to provide many great learnings and sharing of ideas.

Key note address from ITC COO, Hemant Malik teed off the seminar with great strategies and data from outside the newspaper successful case study. The case studies from FMCG - Samsung Company, The Times of India and ABP were also well appreciated. The panel discussion on ‘Motivating the last mile: issues affecting the future of development of distribution channel for newspapers (vendors and dealers)’ was quite constructive. The last panel was on ‘How to grow readership’ and there was a good discussion on ‘Learning and new strategies’. First time participants at an INMA event were Sakal and Deccan Herald.
