For honouring excellence in Indian journalism The Press Club Mumbai RedInk Awards-2013 celebrated the achievements of the Indian Media by conferring honours to top journalists from all over the country, in a grand function held in Mumbai on May 25, 2013. The governor of Maharashtra, K Sankaranarayanan conferred the RedInk Life Time Achievement Awards upon veteran journalist and editor of The Hindu, N Ram and renowned columnist Kuldeep Nayar.

AIM Media Texas to make a big difference

One of the leading suppliers of automation solutions for the newspaper industry, ABB has announced an order from AIM Media Texas for a press controls retrofit of their two Goss Universal 45 presses at their print site in McAllen, Texas. The presses at the McAllen site in the Rio Grande valley in the southernmost part of Texas are used to print regional newspapers including The Monitor, the Valley Morning Star and the Brownsville Herald.
