One of the biggest breakthroughs manroland India has made in the recent past is clinching of an order for a CROMOMAN 4-1 press from Namasthe Telangana – a registered Telugu newspaper published from 10 districts of the newly formed Telangana state. A sneak peek into this future-proof investment.

With a focus to cover mainly the politics and developments of Telangana state, Namasthe Telangana was launched in 2011 and now covering the state through editions across 10 different districts, viz Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam, Nalgonda, Medak, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad and Mahbubnagar. This daily is owned by Telangana Publications Pvt Ltd.

Talking about the new manroland press, Srinivas Ch, general manager-operations, Namasthe Telangana asserted, “As a very young daily newspaper we have revolutionised the newspaper market in Telangana. We are very successful journalistically as well as economically. Our investment in a highly modern manroland web systems’ CROMOMAN 4-1 also reflects this development.”

Srinivas further mentioned that they have had a very close look to the CROMOMAN 4-1 press series before drawing a final decision to adopt the machine. “The efficient and energy-saving production, combined with a high output, is the ideal equipment for our growing business. In future we will be able to offer even better quality to our readers and advertising customers using this newly adopted manroland press,” he added.

CROMOMAN 4-1 is defined to be a press being engineered considering the conditions of the Indian newspaper production market. “With the new CROMOMAN 4-1 we perfectly focus on our future business. Now, we are able to handle various other print jobs in addition to our daily newspaper. The reason is that we are going to expand our business into contractual printing. The press produces excellent quality also in the field of heatset production of magazines. With the variable web width of the machine, customer requirements can be fulfilled flexibly,” explained Srinivas Ch about the investment decision.

Capable of versatile printing possibilities such as 32 pages, two times 16 pages, 24 pages plus 8 pages and various possibilities of two books in parallel production, CROMOMAN is a 4-tower 4-1 press having an additional quarter fold for magazine printing. The maximum production speed of the press is 75,000 cph. CROMOMAN 4-1 is also equipped with several automation systems, such as an automatic web up device or the manroland web systems Closed Loop control systems for colour register control with manual camera movement and cutoff control. The PECOM control system of the machine offers the best possible technology for easy operation and short make-ready and changeover times. With option for expansion in plan, future is secured for Namasthe Telangana.

Big installation base
