Fifth INMA South Asia
Conference concludes in Bengaluru

Under the theme ‘Roots and wings: strengthening our core business and exploring new opportunities’, the fifth annual INMA South Asia Conference concluded successfully in Bengaluru, with participation of more than 150 delegates from different newspapers and companies. The event focused on the unique opportunities in the year ahead for South Asia newspapers, profiting from a robust print market yet aiming for a significant start on the rapidly changing world in the digital market.

At the two-day conference held during November 07-08, 2011, INMA brought together the top newspapers in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, presenting fast-paced tour de force of ideas and innovations to grow newspaper advertising, circulation and brand across titles and across consumer platforms. Real success stories and in-depth case studies were also presented to help attendees keep ahead of the curve and start the process of moving their news publishing establishments into the future effectively.

Based in Dallas with offices in Antwerp and New Delhi, the International Newsmedia Marketing Association (INMA) is the world’s leading provider of global best practices and marketing ideas for newsmedia companies looking to grow amid profound market change. On the basis of INMA's ‘big opportunities for publishers’ in the year ahead worldwide, the South Asia programme committee scaled these opportunities to the region: mobile, digital, advertising and community-building.
