The first Manugraph press in Japan is a single-width 4-page web offset machine, which features two towers, two mono units and a spray dampening system with colour registration and a cut-off control system, designed to churn newspaper at the speed of 36,000 cph.
Moreover, in the book printing arena too, Manugraph has set a strong footprint. In this, the company’s M360-BK single width, single circumference press is a book printing workhorse. The press can run at the speed of up to 36,000 cph, meeting the optimum requirements of book printers. With its inbuilt flexibility, M360-BK is capable of printing quarter fold and double parallel fold products efficiently and the short web path of the press ensures excellent print quality in significantly reduced waste.

Moving on a new front, Manugraph has recently tied-up with high-speed inkjet manufacturer Condot Systems. Through the technical collaboration, a Manugraph press can be converted into a ‘hybrid numbering’ system. This is indeed a cutting-edge solution that can make traditional web offset presses combined with digital HP thermal inkjet technology to add variable data and graphics to otherwise static pages, which in turn helps customers print serial numbers, repeat, skip, random numbers, print regular or two dimensional bar codes, RSS or complex codes without numbering or a bar coding tower.

Hybridisation of Manugraph press with Condot technology is anew way to keep presses running all the time, even when not in used for newspaper production, for other jobs like booklets, bank and educational forms and many such kinds.
