Categories of 2021 INMA Global Media Awards to reflect pandemic impact

Ever since its inception in the year 1937, INMA (The International News Media Association) never ever has experienced any year like 2020 in which the global pandemic has profoundly impacted on the news media business. In this context, the association’s Global Media Awards 2021 will be designed to reflect the pandemic impact.

INMA officials have acknowledged that the COVID-19 crisis will have an impact on the Global Media Awards competition. That’s the why the association has decided for new category selections in the awards in 2021 to reflect that impact. INMA aspires to capture the progress of the news industry’s transformation and reinvention through this crisis.
