DB Corp jumps to 29 percent revenue in Q2

DB Corp Limited (DBCL), home to leading newspapers like Dainik Bhaskar, Divya Bhaskar, Divya Marathi and Saurashtra Samachar, has announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 30. 2021. The company’s consolidated revenue jumped 29 percent to Rs 451.3 cr in Q2 FY22 as against Rs 349.8 cr in Q2 FY21 as the circulation touched 92-95 percent of pre-COVID circulation copies and the print business advertising is now at 82 percent of the pre-COVID levels.

During the quarter, advertising revenue grew 34 percent to Rs 302.9 cr as against Rs 226.3 cr, on a comparative higher base of last year. Circulation revenue grew 12.2 percent to Rs 115.9 cr on as against Rs 103.3 cr.
