Khaleej Times editor as new Mint editor

Vinay Kamat, former editor of Khaleej Times (Dubai), has now appointed as new editor of Mint. He will join the office of the leading financial newspaper of India on February 16, 2018. The post at Mint had been lying vacant since late September 2017 after Sukumar Ranganathan was appointed to head Hindustan Times, when Bobby Ghosh left the newspaper. Vinay is a postgraduate from the University of Bangalore; he holds 30 years of editorial experience, across vast platforms like print, magazines, digital and mobile. Prior to Khaleej Times, he was the resident editor for the Bangalore edition of The Times of India.
