Manroland web systems announces 2018’s first large order for newspaper press lines

After several orders for newspaper presses in 2017, manroland web systems announces a first large order for newspaper press lines in 2018. The company and China National Complete Plant Import & Export Corporation Limited (Complant) have signed up a contract for in total 9 highly automated UNISET newspaper press lines for the Cuban national newspaper Granma.

The new equipment is part of a strategic investment project for Cuba. The UNISET presses will be installed in the cities of Havana, Holguin and Santa Clara where they will produce, besides Granma, other newspapers and books. The order is a continuation of the recent UNISET press installation and upgrade projects on the Cuban island and the successful co-operations in place since more than thirty years.
