Regional daily re-launches with ‘fresh’ look and masthead

A regional daily based in Carlisle in North West England has re-launched with a brand new look and a redesigned masthead. News & Star has undergone the redesign to transform into what parent company the CN Group describes as a ‘bright, attractive and easy-to-read format’. The masthead of the newspaper has also been reorganised, and is now spread across two decks. According to a source, News & Star will continue to publish two geographical editions following the changes, one covering the area around Carlisle and the other covering West Cumbria.
