The Hindu ties up with Vijayavani for exclusive Karnataka coverage

The Hindu Group has joined hands with Vijayavani, a Kannada-language newspaper launched in 2012 in Karnataka. It is published by VRL Group owned by logistics tycoon Dr Vijay Sankeshwar. The collsboration bewteen the two newspapers aims at covering 26 percent of readers in Karnataka, paving the way to reach the unexplored mass of readers in the state. It has been mentioned that The Hindu and Vijayavani will offer an incremental readership of more than 18 lakh readers in the region, ensuring a diverse journey than ever before. It’s the beginning of new outcome of the amalgamation of two reputed media houses.
