DB Corp reports 13 percent growth in ad revenue

DB Corp Limited (DBCL), publisher of flagship newspapers Dainik Bhaskar, Divya Bhaskar, Divya Marathi and Saurashtra Samachar, has announced its performance for Qtr 3 FY ’19 consolidated – all comparisons with Qtr 3 FY ’18. The newspaper house reported growth of 13 percent YOY to Rs 4,813 million in current period from Rs 4,261 million. Its overall circulation revenue has increased three percent YOY to Rs 1,301 million from Rs 1,262 million. The total revenue has grown by 11 percent to Rs 6,616 million in current period from Rs 5,965 million. At an industry level, the government’s recent ad rate hike is a welcome move for all players and will provide a strong impetus for growth.
