FIPP joins organisers for IFRA & DCX Expo in Berlin

IFRA & DCX exhibitions agree on a co-operation with the network for global magazine media, FIPP, including a participation in the congress programme in October in Berlin. FIPP, the network for global media, will join forces with IFRA World Publishing Expo and DCX Digital Content Expo in a world first for global associations representing newspaper and magazine media. The leadership of WAN-IFRA, representing the global newspaper industry, and FIPP, representing the global magazine media, made the joint announcement.

While WAN-IFRA and FIPP have always maintained constructive relationships, the cooperation agreement represents a concrete effort to work closer together to the benefit of their respective members. Vincent Peyregne, CEO of WAN-IFRA, said that the newspaper and magazine publishers nowadays face with business and technological challenges for which they use the same solutions in the areas of software, hardware, materials and production and workflow systems. “I am pleased that we cooperate with our friends from the World Magazine Association FIPP at the exhibitions for the first time. We need to join forces together to address collectively the future challenges of the publishing industry.”
