Odia daily Ajikali’s founder-editor BK Mohanty passes away

Renowned journalist and owner of Odia daily Ajikali, Bismay Kumar Mohanty, passed away recently following a heart attack during his visit to Jagannath Temple in the religious town of Puri. A host of media personalities and other eminent figures from different walks of life visited the noted media person’s home town Saradangain in Balasore district were his last rite was performed. Bismay Kumar was the president of Odisha Small and Medium Newspaper Organisation and was also associated with various social and cultural organisations in the region.
