Paper marks 250th Anniversary in print with front pages exhibition
Derry Journal is a newspaper based in Derry, Northern Ireland, serving Derry as well as County Donegal in the country. It is operated by a Johnston Press holding company entitled Derry Journal Newspapers. An exhibition has marked the bi-weekly Irish newspaper’s 250th Anniversary. The Derry Journal’s 250th anniversary exhibition was running at Ulster University’s Magee campus. The exhibition features front pages from this newspaper spanning its quarter of a millennium in print. The newspaper developed the exhibition to mark the milestone and also to show how events and people have shaped the North-West of Ireland.
