The Printers Mysore uses ppi Media’s Content-X and other software solutions

The Printers Mysore, publisher of popular English newspaper Deccan Herald and Kanada daily Prajavani and others, exclusively uses Content-X and other workflow systems from ppi Media for the overall production of their line of publications.

At the end of June this year, the first stage of The Printers Mysore’s installation project for Content-X begun. Editorial system Content-X by ppi Media and Digital Collections (DC) renders content such as texts and infographics media-neutral until they are published automatically on different channels as required. Advantage of the system is that once the content has been created, it never gets lost and can be formatted for publication on any channel. Together with DC-X, Content-X comprises the most powerful Asset Management System found in any editorial solution.

Started with the production of the newspaper inserts, with gradual transition, The Printers Mysore’s dailies are now produced entirely with Content-X. In addition to the editorial system, the newspaper publishing group has also been using a range of other ppi Media products, including the planning suite PlanPag, ad production system AdMan and e-paper solution CX epaper. The ppi Media and DC products are efficient and future-oriented.
