Munich stage set for
Printing Summit 2014


Further on the success paths of the previous editions, World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) Printing Summit 2014 is taking place in Munich, Germany from March 19-20, 2014. The two-day summit will present updates on a spectrum of topics including printing process innovations, soft proofing, innovative advertising, magazine, digital printing and power of print.


Sponsored by ABB, WAN-IFRA Printing Summit 2014 this year has to have a new dimension in terms of duration of breaks which have been decided to increase in order to give attendees more chance to network and exchange ideas with their colleagues. So, the fact is that everybody will benefit not only from the ideas presented by the international speakers in the conference programme but also by exchanging views with peers equally from all over the world. A highlight of the programmes at WAN-IFRA) Printing Summit 2014 will be ‘Business and Innovation’ on March 19, which covers: Streamlining newspaper production without abandoning variety; Lessons from magazines; Soft-proofing and imaging; and Printing process innovations. On March 20, the range of topics will be: The power of print and Digital printing - complementing offset.

Their presentations will show the audience aspects of innovation as well as the best use of the latest newspaper printing technology and cover a variety of important topics mentioned above.
