Two decades of its
inherent presence in
the Indian pr int ing
industry has attributed Naph
Graphics a proven dexterity
in the web offset segments,
with its footprints extensively
spreading in both newspaper
and book printing domains. The
company’s machine portfolio
consists of production presses
of varied configurations, such
as single-colour, four-colour,
folder printing machine, among
others. In the portfolio, highly
demanded Naph Koncept
Tower, Naph 4 Hi Tower and
Folder presses are widely
acknowledged for their high
performance, longer serving
life and low maintenance.
Widely installed Koncept
A new concept to carve
innovations, Naph Graphics
introduced its Koncept
featuring 4+4 printing with
underneath reel stand. The
press is designed using sturdy
tower to print both sides in
four colours, capable to churn
35,000 copies per hour. In the
press, all eight plate cylinder’s
circumference and side registers
are adjustable; and the cylinders
run on bearers for better dot
transfer and precise impression
setting. In the newspaper
segment, Koncept is widely
acclaimed for its Berliner
format printing. In this, the
press is an outcome from Naph
Graphics with their attempt to
generate the best of Berliner
formats in India.
Two-in one model
Addition of Naph Demy Crown,
which was launched during
PRINTPACK INDIA 2015 in
Greater Noida (Delhi NCR),
the innovative press being
engineered for dual purposes,
to its portfolio has made Naph
Graphics a unique provider of
a press having featured with
508 and 578 cut offs. Printers
can now get any one of the
two sizes or in some cases
both formats in one go. Mohit
Bansal, assistant directormarketing,
Naph Graphics
Pvt Ltd, explains that Naph
Demy Crown is a press that
can deliver dual outputs —16
page signatures of size 8.75x11
inch and 12 page signatures of
size 7.5x10 inch. Of course,
this will meet the requirements
of book printers with utmost
demands. Book printers usually
require two different presses
to print two popular textbook
sizes (508 and 578 cut offs).
This was kept in mind when
Naph Graphics engineered the
Naph Demy Crown to deliver
two formats from one source.
Into book printing
As every machine of Naph
Graphics is featured with
unique technicalities, customers
running Naph presses in their
production facilities are elated
to the competencies and
productivity of the machines.
Newspaper production houses,
book publishing firms and
many of such establishments all
over the country have adopted
Naph Koncept presses, running
the machines to their best
satisfactory levels. Launched
during the PRINTPACK INDIA
2009 in New Delhi, Naph
Koncept has been installed in a
number of newspaper production
houses in India, Bangladesh and
Myanmar. Uttarbanga Sambad in
Siliguri is one of the
successful regional
dailies being printed
on two versatile
Naph presses of
4 Koncept towers
each.
“Ever since the
day we adopted
our first Koncept
press in 2013, things
get magnified in a
bigger way, both
in our production
volume and quality,” says
Swapan Kumar Dey of Sristi
Graphics. There are seven
Koncept presses currently
running in the production setup
of Sristi Graphics in Kolkata,
printing between 60-80 thousand
copies of educational books
every day. Swapan mentions that
the proficiency of Koncept helps
them maintain quality, volume
and on-time delivery of prints
at the end of the day.
Chandrakala Universal is
another proud adopter of Naph
presses. Production facility
of the company in Allahabad
is equipped with two 2 Hi
presses running to print books,
magazines and some commercial
items. “We primarily use our two
Naph presses to print educational
textbooks, apart from stationary
items,” mentions Sushant Dixit
of Chandrakala Universal.
Approximately two lakh
books of around 100 pages
each are churned every month on
the two Naph presses installed
at Chandrakala Universal.
Vishal Scan in Kolkata is yet
another successful user of
Koncept presses. “A total of six
Koncept machines are equipped
in our production facility. These
machines are versatile enough to
churn a whole range of prints,
whether it could be books,
magazines, brochures, leaflets
and others,” says Prem Bajoria
of Vishal Scan. Over the last
four years, since the adoption of
Koncept presses, Vishal Scan has
been a successful printing firm
where customers from different
industrial clusters thronged to
grab prints of their choices.
In addition to the range of
machines, perfectly designed
to print mid-size newspaper
editions, academic textbooks
and commercial leaflets,
Naph Graphics boasts of its
technical support team whose
dedicated tasks always help
their customers get rid of any
production snag. And the team
is now increasingly working on
the innovative front to unpack
further marvels.
