Tiskara Zagreb secures the future with Ferag
The Ferag solution with a
RollStream and JetFeeder.

Croatia’s biggest newspaper
printing house, Tiskara
Zagreb, has invested in a
Ferag inserting and bundling line.
The solution consisting of a
RollSertDrum RSD-C inserting
system, a RollStream ROS
precollating system with four JEF
JetFeeders and a main-product
offline hopper as well as a
MultiStack MTS bundling unit
with a KPZ-40 underwrapper
feeder and strapping machine
means that Tiskara has actively
secured its future in southeast
Europe.
Amongst others, eleven regional
issues of the daily newspaper
Vecernji list, totalling
approximately 120,000 copies,
are produced on a MAN Uniset.
When combined with the
RollStream and fed via the
JetFeeder JEF-type hopper, up to four
supplements – from a single sheet to
a 128-page tabloid product – can now
be processed at a higher online
insertion speed. In addition, daily
preproduction, whose lead time is only
half an hour compared with main
production, can be continuously fed.
Supplements and preprints can be
inserted in the main product offline
via another hopper. The second
folding delivery will continue to be
supplied from the existing line with
an ETR-C inserting system.
