IFRA Expo 2010 set to mark another success

T

he fortieth IFRA Expo - the international communication platform for the newspaper industry and its suppliers, covering the entire range of products and services for newspaper magazine production and bringing together the right people in the right atmosphere is all set to be held in Hamburg, Germany from October 04-06.

This year’s IFRA Expo will provide comprehensive business and networking opportunities, with a wide range of events including: the 17th World Editors Forum, the number one editorial conference worldwide for chief editors and other senior newsroom personnel (Oct 06-08); Media Port, a programme of lectures on publishing trends in online, mobile and print (Oct 04-06); Advertising Summit, to be held in the premises of Axel Springer in Hamburg, to examine the latest developments in the advertising sector and present international case studies of advertising success (Oct 07); Newspapers Today, a series of Focus Sessions on best practices in newspaper production that examines mailroom and production trends, excellence in printing, ‘green’ publishing and more (Oct 04-06); 3rd International e-Reading and Tablet Conference to highlight the opportunities that new e-readers, tablet PCs and the iPad offer to newspaper companies (Oct 05); presentation of the winners of the WAN-IFRA XMA Cross Media Awards (Oct 04) and the International Newspaper Color Quality Club ceremony (Oct 06); the annual ‘Get Together’, where participants can make contacts and renew acquaintances with publishers and suppliers from all over the world while enjoying refreshments, snacks and music (Oct 04); and much more.
