Strategic cooperation between
technotrans and Shree Refrigerations

T

o effectively cater Indian print market, one of the globally leading systems suppliers of equipment for the printing industry, technotrans AG has entered into a strategic cooperation with Shree Refrigerations (P) Ltd, the Indian manufacturer of refrigeration system.

With technotrans in the process of establishing their own company in Chennai (India), the cooperation does ensure an even stronger local sales and service support for the vast and growing Indian print market. The main purpose of the cooperation is to make the highly sophisticated and technologically advanced technotrans spray dampening systems fully available to the Indian newspaper customers and fulfill the growing needs of the customers with the local sales and service support of Shree Refrigerations in combination with technotrans in India.

The agreement to this effect was recently signed by Ralph Pernizsak, regional managing director of technotrans Asia-Pacific and RG Shende, managing director of Shree Refrigerations (P) Ltd. Copies of the signed contract were exchanged in Chennai between Sunil Matthew of technotrans and Abhijit Saoji of Shree Refrigerations. On the happy occasion, Sunil stated that with local sales and service support from Shree Refrigerations, the technotrans products will offer excellent opportunities of increased productivity, waste reduction and quality improvement for the Indian newspaper printers. Abhijit showed the confidence in creating a strong customer loyalty for the products offered under the technotrans and Shree cooperation through ‘strong value proposition’ created by technologically excellent product backed by strong sales and service support.

Shende expresses satisfaction on the agreement as it will provide opportunities for future development of the Indian print market. The new cooperation also opens up use of environment-friendly technology that will save paper and drainage of fountain solution. The agreement also enables Shree to cooperate with technotrans in neighbouring Asian (Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Sri Lanka) countries and Mauritius. The agreement comes at a time when Shende is elected to represent chiller manufacturing industry on government initiative for HCFC (R-22) phase-out, yet another green initiative.

Ralph Pernizsak is convinced that the growing Indian newspaper market will strongly benefit from the cooperation between technotrans and Shree Refrigeration. “With Shree Refrigeration, we wish to achieve a strong setup in the market, so that we can help customers to be more productive, more efficient and more cost-effective in their printing process. Together, we want to be a driver of environmental and cost-effective technology for the printing industry in India,” he added.
