India takes top three spots in Best in Newspaper Marketing at 17th Asian Media Awards
The 17th Asian Media Awards was held as part of Publish Asia 2018. Malaysia made a clean sweep of Newspaper Breaking News Article category with India bagged top three spots in Newspaper Marketing. Jagran Prakashan, South China Morning Post, and Living Media won multiple Golds. The annual award event attracted 435 entries from all over Asia and the Middle East which competed for excellence in editorial content, design, infographics, photography, printing quality, newspaper marketing and community service.
Over 30 judges from international media companies in 13 countries evaluated the entries in recent months to select the 39 award winners honoured during Publish Asia 2018. The winners are listed as under—Gold on top, Silver in middle and Bronze at bottom.

Participants in the 2018 International Newspaper Color Quality Club (INCQC) competition from Asia Pacific, South Asia and Middle East will benefit two folds: they will automatically also participate in the competition for the Asian Media Awards ‘Best in Print Awards’ and therefore stand two chances to be awarded. Results for Best in Print will only be released in June 2018.
INCQC is a biennial competition which begun in 1994 with the objective of improving the day-to-day quality in reproduction and printing at newspapers worldwide. This quality benchmark is based on proven international process standards.
