Manugraph and Condot delivering hybrid print solutions worldwide
Manugraph India Ltd (MIL) and high-speed inkjet machine manufacturer Condot Systems have come together once again to deliver cutting edge hybrid printing solutions to their customers overseas. A key customer in the clientele is Abuja-based Binani Printing Press, a division of Binani Group offering a wide range of pre-press, press and post-press services.
Binani Printing Press has been a key customer of Manugraph. The company’s production facility at Abuja in Nigeria has already equipped with two Manugraph CITYLINE EXPRESS web offset presses. Now the facility is upgraded to a new level with the recent installation of an add-on of Condot’s online variable data printing (VDP) and Micro Perforation System to the Manugraph presses. With this add-on, Binani Printing Press is now able to use numbering as well as bar coding applications while printing.
The next level progression is that the traditional web offset press has now combined with digital HP thermal inkjet technology to add variable data & graphics to otherwise static pages. This combination allows Binani Printing Press to print serial numbers & almost any regular, variable or two dimensional bar codes, QR codes, postal codes or any complex codes without the necessity of a numbering or a bar coding tower. The press will be used by Binani Printing Press specifically for the printing of election ballot papers in Nigeria.
Such hybrid solution not only gives flexibility but also increases the productivity of Manugraph web offset presses by helping customers in not keeping their presses idle, and instead using them to print additional jobs like numbered booklets, bank papers, educational forms and others.
