Q.I. Press Controls India keeps on gaining new ground

Q.I. Press Controls (QIPC) continues to thrive on the Indian printing market. The Dutch specialist in measurement and control systems for the web offset printing market has recently received new orders of mRC-3D register systems from some of the leading newspaper houses, each important because of several reasons.

Adoption of mRC-3D register systems among the Indian newspapers keeps increasing. Some of the leading newspaper houses in the country that have adopted the register system include Newcomer Eastern Media (Bhuvneshwar), Uttar Banga Sambad (Siliguri), Lokmat (Mumbai and Pune) and Jagran (Hissar, Jalandhar and Varanasi). Each order has its own importance for Q.I. Press Controls India.

Rakesh Dave, Managing Director of QIPC-EAE India, says, “It is a promising sign that our existing clients are satisfied with our products and services, so that new customers get word of these positive experiences and also decide in favour of QIPC.”

This is the first order for QIPC in Odisha. Q.I. Press Controls will equip Eastern Media’s

Manugraph Cityline press consisting of 7 towers and 1 folder, with mRC-3D register control including integrated cut-off control. The system will be soft-wired and integrated in the Manugraph configuration. The installation of automated register control will lead to considerable savings in labour cost and help reduce waste.

Uttar Banga Sambad

Uttar Banga Sambad had its first QIPC system installed in 2014. After many orders in recent years, even 4 in this calendar year, the leading Bengali newspaper has again placed their trust in QIPC. This time QIPC will equip an extra tower of the newspaper’s NAPH press line, consisting of 5 towers and 1 folder), with mRC-3D colour register system fitted with AIMS (Automatic Ink Mist Shield). Also press manufacturer NAPH Graphics is very satisfied with the system’s performance and the service support from Q.I. Press Controls India. They act as a real ambassador for QIPC by recommending the QIPC solutions to their customers.

Lokmat and Jagran Prakashan

Lokmat and Jagran Prakashan are among QIPC’s most loyal customers. For years, the leading newspapers have been experiencing the benefits of QIPC’s automation solutions. Therefore without question, Lokmat decided to upgrade and expand their existing systems with the latest version at their Mumbai and Pune production plants. Jagran Prakashan did the same for their systems at their plants in Hissar, Jalandhar and Varanasi. Rakes informs, “We are very proud of the gained orders. Our proven record in the market, bases on our system performance and service support, gives us the advantage in the Indian market.
