ABB showing modular press retrofit solutions and production management systems at IFRA World Publishing Expo 2019

ABB will be taking part in this year’s IFRA World Publishing Expo 2019 to be held from October 07-10, 2019 at Messe Berlin. The focus of the company will lie on its modular press retrofit solutions and production management systems. Experts from the company will be on hand to present modular press control and drives retrofit solutions for newspaper presses from all leading manufacturers. These solutions give customers the opportunity to replace the controls or drives on selected press units, thereby freeing up spare parts for the rest of the press and minimising the cost of keeping the presses in reliable production. ABB will also explain spare part strategy, which allows us to guarantee the availability of spare parts for at least 10 years after installation. The latest versions of the company’s suite of management systems that optimise the entire newspaper production process will also be presented. ABB is a leading automation supplier to the newspaper industry. It operates in more than 100 countries with about 1,47,000 employees. The company will be at stand E.04 in Hall 21a at IFRA World Publishing Expo 2019, in Berlin.
