Lokmat Group gains nine percent increase in readership

Lokmat Group, which publishes popular Marathi daily Lokmat from Mumbai and several other cities in Maharashtra including Pune, is among the top five dailies in the western region. According to the recent Indian Readership Survey (IRS) 2019, the group gained more than 9 percent increase in its total readership across the group. The group now has a total readership of over 2.36 crore readers and is ranked the 6th most read publications in India. Pune is one of the vibrant market where the newspaper had established leadership in IRS 2017. Similarly, Kolhapur and Mumbai have been markets where the group has witnessed growth close to 13 percent and 14 percent respectively. Lokmat consistently focuses on its readers and understands their pulse and changing tastes.
